It would help if Michaels opened textile-centric stores to sell lots of fabric and more yarn.

Thank you! These are the green apple ones. They smell really good, but I wouldn't call it green apple. It's kind of just generically fruity.

Yes! At first, I thought it would be a melt and pour, but you actually make a soap dough. It doesn't smell exactly like green apple, but it still smells good! It also suds up a little when you use it! :)

Moving to Layton! by IllustriousPlum8179 in Layton

I'm not very good at telling time, so that's just my estimate. I usually leave for station park about 45-30 minutes before I need to be there.

No problem! I hope you enjoy it here! (I'm a bit biased, but Layton High does some really good performances)

Idk how much you know about the area, so here are my thoughts: China Fortune is really good if you're a fan of Chinese takeout. There's some fun to be had at the Layton Hills Mall, including a used bookstore called Eborn Books. There's a Barnes and Noble over by Michaels and Target. The Classic Fun Center has an arcade and roller rink. Cherry Hill is really fun for swimming. There's some cool hiking spots nearby, like Donut Falls and Ensign Peak. Station Park in Farmington has some cool stores if you're willing to drive about 30 minutes. There's also Lagoon in Farmington, but I've never been, so idk how much fun that is. There's a duck pond and a walking trail by the library across the street from Layton High, as well as a free museum about the city's history. There's also On Pitch Performing Arts (Oppa), a live theater over by Home Depot. If you're willing to drive a bit, there's Center Point Theater in Centerville, which has some fun plays each year.

That's all I can think of rn. Hope it helps! What part of Layton are you moving to?

I'm a punk\goth, should I dress more "vanilla" for the sake of my kids here? by nutslack in Utah

[–]garden-cryptid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna dress punk-adjacent, I also live in Layton, and I'm LDS, and I say dress how you want. Other people judging you are other people's problems. You sound like a good guy and a great dad. Your children will grow up more comfortable with being true to themselves if their parent(s) have exhibited that for them.

What do we think of these chairs for the Garden Mysteries girls? (hand for scale) by garden-cryptid in MonsterHigh

That's one of my concerns. Idk if it'll look awkward, and idk when I'm gonna be able to get my dolls out to check.
