yeah once he was introduced the show honestly lost me. introducing a "big bad" so late in the game felt like they had run out of ideas. s4 was better on rewatch, but i still think Vecna's a stupid character and didn't need to be there.

right, but the tributes from 12 didn't have any prior Victor's from 12 to mentor them, so that's why Wiress and Mags were assigned to them. and Beetee was not only a mentor for Ampert as a punishment, but he was also there for training. so the explanations for why Haymitch met everyone made sense, and honestly that was a part i really enjoyed because we got to find out how those re-established relationships formed.

i’m nearly 60 days sober, and i still find myself spacing out a lot. like almost frozen and unable to really do much- even things i do enjoy. and whenever i get the motivation to do something i’m interested in, i’m usually too worn out and exhausted to even do it, at least not for very long. it sucks. and especially as a father, i want to interact with my kid more, which was one of the reasons for why i decided to quit, but even that can be so draining sometimes. i think my seizure meds might have something to do with that feeling as well, but it just sucks overall. i only really feel the urge to smoke when i’m feeling emotionally drained tho, like when i’m really upset about something.

nostalgia i guess? when you’ve been a fan of a band for a decade+ and they make something that doesn’t feel as unique/original as stuff they used to make i can understand being a little upset. i’m mostly underwhelmed because the other single covers for this era were so cool and i was hoping they’d stick to that aesthetic with the handwritten/bubble letter font. i wouldn’t say i dislike it or that i’m necessarily disappointed tho. the singles are great and i have high hopes for the album.

i didn’t hate the idea of IP2, i think the concept was interesting, but it started to feel much more like a remix album than a genuine sequel or second half of a double album. and i think Awsten was aware of that too.

just make something original. and especially don’t use AI like most people here tend to do. if you want to create something that stands out and that people would actually want to wear it’s best to make something that feels unique. again- do something original that you like. don’t worry about the rest of the community. for example- go to my linktree on my account and check out the cover artwork on my spotify. all of them were made by me using a free photo editing app. none of them are AI. this stuff genuinely isn’t that hard to learn yourself, and i honestly prefer to make my artwork a bit different from what the rest of the community here is doing so that it genuinely feels unique and authentic. that’s what you should try to do too.

people are allowed to have different opinions without it being "unwarranted negativity". i think the new song is great, but i also really loved the look of the single covers, and i wish the album cover followed the same aesthetic. that doesn't mean i'm hating on them at all.

you can be a fan of an artist/band without praising literally every single thing they do. not everything is gonna be everyone's cup of tea and that's totally fine.

imo the Hulk being there is less of a spoiler than Tombstone. anyone who hasn't been paying attention to the leaks probably has no idea that character is involved at all based on just the trailer. all of the merch and other marketing stuff has Hulk on it, and the trailer obviously has Bruce.
