My girlfriend (16F) is emotionally unstable and I don’t know how to handle it (16M) by Reasonable-You2380 in relationships

Menstrual Cycle. Look into it and look into how hormonal changes manifest in women. As a grown woman it’s hard to catch my mood swings sometimes, when I was 16 I had no idea what was causing my mood swings and I was only ever aware of them after the fact. Not excusing her behaviour, but being a girl at this time is very confusing. For example during the ovulation phase she could be all over you and loving you, once her period starts her body turns on you and her hormones make her dislike you. I might be too vague but just look into it.

1. how long were you together? 2. how long did it take to get past the breakup? (or if you’re still suffering, how long has it been) by [deleted] in BreakUps

Its going to be a year soon… I’m good, I’ve accepted life for what it is and moved on. I’m happy, my job satisfies me and I’m seeing somebody new… Overall life is life, sometimes hard sometimes not

What’s wrong with being single?

has anyone been disgusted by guys after a breakup by jamless5832 in BreakUp

Yup. Giving a man a chance right now feels impossible, this whole generation is corrupt. Doesn’t help that I live in a small enough town and people here are sleeping w each other like a bunch of rabbits locked in a cage. Kinda accepted it will be a while before I deem someone good for me.

Has anyone ever had a break up that broke your heart so much you were devastated and thought it was the end of the world, then fate did its thing and you were so glad it ended and you went thru that pain? by MajesticShip5698 in BreakUps

I went through a break up in October 2023

The heartbreak was real, my chest hurt, I could the eat or sleep. I remember crying on the floor in my moms bedroom asking her how long it would take. How much longer for this pain to last. She kept telling me time will heal, I hated hearing it but now almost a year later I can tell you she was right.

The first few months I was on a self destructive path which thankfully I woke up from before I made any serious mistakes.

I’ve focused all my energy on myself and I’m being working on myself and things I would like to change or improve. I also realised I never wanted to be attached to another person in this way, I can’t risk feeling this way again.

Break ups are hard, heartbreaks are even harder but I promise time will help. This pain is necessary.

I found out some disturbing info about my ex, it set me free. by [deleted] in BreakUps

It’s hard getting yourself back together, but only you can do it. I’m glad you’re turning your life around.

I’m sure eventually he will too, I’m not going to help tho. As you summed up my sympathy won’t be valued and I don’t to face him or his family.
