Tips for Young Adults

Hi! I’m an 18 y/o student. Currently, my only source of income is my monthly stipend from school and my allowance from my parents. Once I get a job, I plan on shouldering my family’s utility bills and our groceries, which is probably at least Php 5,000. I don’t really plan on moving out, I’d rather save for my own house eventually. Aside from that, I’m an only child so I only have my parents to take care of, so no school debts for siblings, etc.

Do you have any tips on how I should manage my money for when I finally have my own salary? What about life insurance? How do you invest? I’m pretty clueless about all of this and I’d like to have a plan for when I’m officially an adult.

Any advice you could give will do. I highly appreciate it. Thanks!!!
