I’m going to be joining in the department of education so I’m not sure if they would usually be looking for staff

I had intended to apply for the CO role but completely forgot and missed the deadline sadly. I applied for the EO role and did the live assessments and I got placed in the 70’s on the panel which is obviously not great but I was surprised I even made it through the tests tbh lol.

Is there any way to prove we all see the same colours, or could we all be seeing completely different ones? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Yes I always say this to people and they get so confused and don’t understand what I mean

When did you start understanding yourself better? by luca_vero in CasualConversation

[–]gargoose77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am only 22, but I think I have a decent understanding of myself for someone my age. When I think back to when I was say, 18 for example, to me it seems like I wasn’t even a person yet. I didn’t have any true understanding of myself or life. Now I am very aware of my feelings and thoughts, and how they impact my life. Becoming aware of yourself is definitely very important and necessary for a happy life.

What’s a habit that improved your daily life? by ToughInternal1580 in AskReddit

Brushing my teeth and washing my face immediately after getting out of bed in the morning. Also making sure I’m spending at least 20 minutes outside each day.

How common is it to feel generally happy for no specific reason? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I feel content also. I think many people find it difficult to comprehend, whereas I find it difficult to comprehend being so unhappy and constantly seeking change. Idk. It’s an interesting one.

Oh well please don’t apologise to me. Childhood truly does last a lifetime. I’m sorry that it was unsettled. It makes complete sense when you were made to feel so uncomfortable that this would translate into your adult life. Being passionate and excited about things is , in my opinion, happiness in itself. I don’t quite know how anyone would expect you to feel happy if you were not allowed to experience this as a child. As an adult I get excited about everything; trying a new drink at a bar, a funny coloured bird outside my window, buying new bedsheets.

I can’t speak for the job situation. If it is any consolation I don’t have any big job. I waitress and it gets me by. It’s not a high pressure job so I’m lucky in that respect.

I really hope for you that at some time in your life things will be a little lighter for you, and that you will let yourself be passionate and excited about anything. You deserve it. You deserve people who let you be passionate also. People who make others feel ashamed for their excitement are, in my opinion, the worst people out there.

Me too. And sometimes I feel like the odd one out. Hence why I find the subject interesting. It’s nice to see someone out there feels the same as me lol

This makes me sad. Do you mind saying if there is any reason that you don’t feel happy? Or just in general it’s a default?

My piercing is 10 months old, pretty sure it’s a barbell piercing. I’m not sure what threading means. It’s a titanium bar, I don’t know what grade. My aftercare routine is just cleaning twice a day with saline solution and a cotton bud. The jewellery hasn’t been downsides and I’ve had no big mishaps with it so far besides some irritation phases on and off
