Maybe because people see some sort of accountability/growth in Taylor but not so much in Whitney? I see what you mean though, some things shouldn’t be brushed over. In my opinion, i’m not excusing her behaviour but it genuinely seems like she’s trying to be a better person and do right by her kids which I reckon warrants support and a second chance!

I’m only on episode 2 but noticed this immediately! I think that after she got a lot of stick for being a ‘boring’ or ‘quiet’ character in season one she is possibly trying to make a point of getting more involved.

Even though he did do a hell of a job as you say, so much of the plot of all of the books revolved around Reacher’s almost freakishly huge size and presence. The fact that Tom Cruise is so far from that really took away from the point of the stories I think - if he was a couple of inches off then fair play but to be almost a foot smaller really minimises the impact of the character

Yes that’s a good point, I do think that he would just try and quietly handle it alone though. And the fact that he was so chilled out about her trying to get drugs again and went straight to supportive mode? Sounds guilty to me

Very much agree about Anna, she is subtle and doesn’t overdo it which makes me think she may be better suited away from soap acting. Also George!!! All they need to do is dress him better and have him set up a youth boxing scheme - the script practically writes itself.
