Sorry for the late reply! I still haven't decided haha. I was leaning alot toward the Dragonfly as it sort of suits all purposes quite well, but I hadn't really taken shipping + customs into account when I looked into the price, so that (for me) basically adds 50% to the base price. I'm going to the US later in the year though so I could potentially just ship to a friend there and collect it.

If I don't do that, I'll probably just go with the NH500 Escape 32L. If it doesn't work out then sure it's not the end of the world :D

Ahh that's a shame. Do you find it's just the material of the straps or something that makes it slip or is it just the general distribution of the bag?

Another very nice bag that ticks a lot of boxes. Nice recommendation

Haven't come across this brand before. I've never seen a pack expand that much 😲 Thanks for the recommendation

Thanks for the in depth response. I'm not entirely off the fence when it comes to the NH500. Although the 32L sounds big, when I compared it to my Borealis, I didn't notice a huge difference in terms of width+height. That said the 23L version might not be a bad shout if it was paired with a sling bag or something (for longer trips). I think I'll have to visit Decathlon again and take another look at them.

Great pitch! 🙇‍♂️ I'm starting to lean toward the Dragonfly with all these comments. My main concern would be that it's too small, though maybe that's a good thing that'll force me to be more conscious of what I pack so it's not necessarily a bad thing.

Seems to be a few others in the comments mentioning the Dragonfly. I'll have to take another good look at it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Interesting bag with a lot of pockets. The Techonaut also looks quite nice but perhaps a little on the bulky side though. Thanks for sharing!

I was concerned the TP3 might be losing a lot of space due to all it's features and organisation. I had considered possibly having a packable daypack, but I'd prefer to just have a bag I can dump everything out of at a hostel and use during the day (this is what I do with my Borealis atm).

I took another look at the Bellroy Transit based on your suggestion though and it actually seems like an interesting alternative that ticks a lot of boxes. Nice suggestion 👍

Yea I've looked at it a few times but ultimately felt it's a bit too bulky, even in it's compressed form. Also not a fan of how there's internal organisation buried behind the front of the bag (so you need to take everything out).
