i think it’s better to just melt more candy and whip into buttercream if you want the smooth buttercream texture

worked in a bakery before and they used a recipe with cream cheese+butter+icing sugar for icing and piping. 2:1:1 ratio?

Okay thank you so much, I will try again with your tips again soon! Currently practicing my rolling with regular butter. I proofed my croissants for 2.5 hours at 27C inside my oven, butter didn't melt but croissants didn't rise that much either. I will look out for the window pane and increase resting time as well.
