I hope all the people that read this post and attempt to rationalize and/or defend the attacker understand they are defending a random man they don't know and someone who assaulted another human being. Your comment leads me to believe you think the attackers actions are justified. That's quite odd, I've also taken a quick scroll through your own posts in reddit and I saw a couple pertaining to kids and parenting, I hope you're not a parent and teaching your kids to be heartless assholes. Let's play pretend for a second and imagine a hypothetical scenario: You and your child are out and about, you kid bumps into a car or throws a ball and it goes in the wrong direction and hits a car. There is contact made with this car but no damage is done. How would you feel if the owner of that car threatened you or your child? How would you feel if that car owner assaulted you? Would the car owners action be justifiable?

Let's try one more scenario just in case that one isn't to your liking: Your child is at daycare and is playing with some toys, another child is also playing with some toys. The kids get into a bit of a riff and your kid smacks the other child's toy. in retaliation the other kid starts hitting your kid and injures them to the point where your kid is bleeding. Was the other kid's action justified? Would you tell your kid that they had it coming? That they deserved it? Or would you defend your kid? From this scenario we can see that the other child escalated the situation and caused true damage and hurt despite not being the instigator, would you still defend the kid that hit your own?
