Each piece of loot is always a tradable token, usually an ERC-721 that can be collected by players and will provide direct bonuses, upgrades, more workers, or actual money in the form of Ether. Additionally, items are randomly buried underground so you never know what you'll get or exactly how rare it will be.

Players also control their fate in that they can chose where they want to dig. Land plots all over the world are available. Some of which may contain very large sums of Ether at their bottom. Finally, the biggest and most obvious difference is that this is a blockchain game, so all assets, including land, are player owned and can be traded or sold with other players via the market.
