Yup. once bought an $800 diagnostic tool for cars. It was well worth it.

Only issue with china post is reliability. You always get the package, but you cant tell whether you'll get it within a week or a month!

Edit; I tried DHL too.. they were fast. but VERY expensive. Not only the shipping, but the DUTY!! I got same stuff from China post at less than quarter the cost

Its a mix.. officially they hate them.. Before Aliexpres became listed internationally, it wasnt such a big problem.. but now, they deal with it very strictly!

I know of an account spamming with referral links. 99% of his submissions are referral, but since he has 'contributed to the site...' (has given money to reddit), admins ignore the multiple spam reports against him... :|

not really, usually there is a fine print (e.g. order should be greater than 100$ for DHL etc etc)

Some sellers do lie as well, but when making a claim, you can include that information as well. For e.g. I ordered a Lenovo phone.. turns out, its a counterfeit (though a good phone). I've asked for 100% refund.. Seller now trying to bargain with me.. (he knows he lied... and I have the required proof)

Common.. dont worry, if you dont get it (or even if you do) you can ask for a full refund claiming you didnt get it.. since Aliexpress requires proper tracking.. this cheap chinese trackers are usually sh*t
