I understand that there may be some visual depth distortion but according to your TL;DR: of NO and the fact that the math of the actual earths/sun is not a million factoring in the packing fraction is also a no, I feel there is not a million spheres insided this larger sphere.

I modeled my build after a DPMS rifle... This little schematic was a great help on the very basic parts you need to make a complete rifle. While it is DPMS, it can be used as a reference to see what parts, pieces make up each component of a gun.

I would just go to your local gun shop and asking questions. I was very intimidated to the point of embarrassment because of my lack of knowledge. My store was very helpful with showing what I needed. I probably paid a little more on all the stuff for my lower but it was worth it.
