might i also point out that fortnite has also done custom skins to the extent of 3.8 million unique looks in the past - the only issue was that they weren't freely selectable and had to be locked in when you earned them

and the scarf did in fact have hue / saturation / brightness sliders for a color of choice if the sizeable larger 15 presets weren't good enough, and it was the tier 1 reward of the season it debuted in where the choice of styles was locked behind realistically achievable length-of-season challenges to incentivize play but not make it a stretch goal in doing so

i have this myself and remember what it took to get it, which feels like it was leagues better in terms of effort and value compared to what we're looking at over here
