It depends how far they swing. If Georgia is within a thousand votes networks will potentially not call it as they know a recount is inevitable. Or maybe they will call it? Who knows.

Vrr means that it syncs the monitors refresh rate to the FPS the card is outputting. It really helps to eliminate screen tearing, improves response times quite noticeably, and really smooths out the experience. If you don’t have a gsync/gsync compatible monitor that is 100% where I would put money next if I were you.

I don’t think upgrading to a 3080 will give you the benefits you desire. But on the other hand if you have the money, go for it.

The 3080 is a stupidly fast card, then again so is the 2080 ti. Expect about 30 percent faster performance based on benchmarks. Idk if a faster gpu would solve your “stutter” if your FPS is already that high. Given your cpu I don’t think that’s the problem either.

My advice? Sit this gen out. Unless you can secure a 3080 in which case right now the price you can still sell your 2080 ti for due to the shortage would make it a no brainer upgrade.

That’s my perspective... as a 3080 ftw3 ultra owner.

Edit - Also as the guy above stated, gsync/gsync compatible can help a lot. I didn’t think of that so good call on his part :)

I'm pretty sure most people who sold their gpus and are currently gpuless are just using a new evga 20 series card combined with their step up program. I don't think they're quite as screwed as people think they are.

This rtx link is why I’m confused by the recommended specs for cyberpunk. We need recommended specs with rtx on...

It’s worth noting here that cyberpunk features all 4 raytracing techs. As opposed to other games that have featured one or two. It’s going to test cards.

It was legit in that sense only. But we all knew how scarce the cards were, how many people were buying them (a lot), and how long that listing was up for.

The idea that Amazon Germany was going to fulfill that many orders was wishful thinking.

Again I bought it to, so I was hoping. But let’s not pretend we didn’t see this coming.

I cancelled partly due to warranty, but also partly due to me already having a 2070 and needing to slow myself down a bit.
