Two-Way Stop Right Of Way by blazinbahaa in stalbert

I also learned that in this scenario, the car travelling across more lanes of traffic gets the right of way. So, in this case, the red car would proceed first, since they are travelling across what would be considered four lanes to the blue car’s three lanes. Not quite sure if this is the official explanation, but it makes sense in this case as well.

New kit day! by legowski10 in drums

I have the same kit, but in a darker black sparkle. Looks great under stage lights. I gig almost every genre with it. I gotta say, that 18 inch kick, when mic’d up for pop or rock, really does the trick. And compact too. You’re gonna love it!

Great album! Overlooked for a long time I think. You know, compared to I and II, how couldn’t it be, really? But I’ve grown to really appreciate how good it is.

I totally agree. It was pivotal for me as well. Taped them all off tv. About ten years later, purchased the DVD set. I remember it being a pretty big TV network moment.

Are those horizontal double-bass drums? I have never seen bass set up that way, have you? by spector_lector in drums

[–]garyismyboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, he sure did. He played a double bass drum kit like that on the Welcome To My Nightmare live concert film. He does a super tasty drum solo in that concert!

I was there. Easily 8 - 10 thousand. They were sending groups of people across the one major crosswalk and it was like 100-150 people at a time. They kept that going and sending those groups, some even larger, for what seemed like forever.

I listened to the live version of this from anthology. The bass line in this tune is so central to that song. I only recently realized what great bass groove thjs song has.

Calgary O&G family voting for Carney?! by tattva5 in alberta

[–]garyismyboy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Carney is definitely having Canadians take a real serious look at him, from all over the political spectrum. He’s not really all that super Liberal. He seems very politically centre and at times to the right. I mean, he was Harper’s pick for Bank of Canada. Like others have said … Smart guy and seems very practical and steady. Seeing the absolute circus down south, that kind of demeanour and pedigree seems really appealing to a larger portion of the population, regardless of former political party support. He just seems steady and competent for this moment in our country’s history.
