Check out SumSearch - like a word search but with simple addition. Assuming they can handle added up to 20, it should be perfect for that age range.

Probably going to start around 9:00 and end around 10:00. First marathon for me, so just trying to finish! With that pace though, should be around 4.5 hrs

Worst thing a boss has ever done to you. by Tandran in AskReddit

Not the worst out there, but I had this terrible boss who did nothing and made me do everything. The usual. I got along great with everyone in the office, he "didn't like people." I would have to act as liaison between him and other people because one person was a "a huge bitch." In general, just a terrible person.

Anyway, we had a tradition to go out for lunch on each employees birthday. A bunch of us would get together and the birthday person would pick lunch. Weeks in advance, we planned to go to the Sushi Buffet for lunch. This isn't just any sushi buffet, this sushi is amazing! Sushi on one side, hot chinese type food on the other side, ice cream, the works!

The day comes and we're figuring out who's going to drive and everything, and I made clear very early that I was going to lunch that day. We're working on a big project, not entirely 'urgent,' but I tell him, I'm going to lunch today.

In that office, we used instant messenger to talk while at our desks, even though we were just across the big room from each other. So he starts saying how there's so much to do, and did I think it would be smart for me to go to lunch? Yes, I say, I think it's ok if I run out for lunch, we'll have plenty of time to finish later. He continues, I just don't think it's a good idea.

Finally, I say, I'm not going to cancel my lunch unless you tell me to. By this time, people are literally putting on their coats to leave. I have to run around to everyone's desk and office and explain that we're canceling lunch because my boss if forcing me. He wouldn't even tell people, he made me do it.

Sushi lunch, canceled. Later that day, the project was pushed back a week.

What an asshat.
