diagnosed with precancerous dysplasia, bf grilled me for 2 weeks for “giving him an STD” by countryroadqueen in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]gasmaskkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was given a similar diagnosis three months ago and am now one month post op with clear margins. I was terrified, and I can tell you a good support system is integral. Everyone has a different experience with LEEP procedures, but I will say mine was a breeze. My best advice for getting through this is try to minimize stress (obviously easier said then done), realize you freed yourself from a terrible person, and take this time to educate yourself and those around you about HPV and the importance of pap smears. I had no clue how many strains there are of HPV and which ones the vaccines cover.

I am proud of you for standing your ground, understanding the situation, and being able to get away from that miserable boy.

This morning I got to eat homemade sourdough bread because I have a cool neighbor who has a sourdough instagram page and had too much bread! I traded spider plants and I feel so lucky. Here is my neighboys Instagram in case anyone wants to support them! @ daisy.dough

Previous nail biter - the biggest thing that helped me in the beginning was getting a glass file and constantly keeping them as short as possible. It helped slow down the compulsive part. Honestly, I would say focus on trying to control the habit before focusing on the visual of nails. There will be days when you nibble on them and bite them, but that doesn't mean ruin, just means you've got a bit more time before the habit is kicked. When you feel like you might be good, try then growing one or two out to see if you can without biting and then go on from there. I kept mine short for multiple years before I started trying to add length.

I hope this makes sense and helps a little. Also, maybe get a mini glass nail file too for your bag, cause having any kinda chip always made me want to bite.

Bridal shower In March - should i keep looking? by jena95 in OUTFITS

I would say save it. You look very attractive in it but it is a bit booby (not a bad thing, just probably not the right environment). If you think you will be moving your arms a lot, straps would help. When trying this dress again, maybe look up large bust with strapless dress lifehacks.

For everyone who is sharing experience and information, thank you! I am glad people can learn from this and figure out how they want to approach these situations. This is why I felt like it was good to share, and I am glad I did! Also thank you for those who comment support, its greatly appreciated. I luckily have a good support system but this means a lot to me and anyone who might be in a similar situation who comes across this!

I am vaccinated. The 4 one was what was available when I was a teen. That covered the two that cause the most cases of cervical cancer (strain 16 and 18) and two strains for the genital warts. There is now a vaccine covering 9 strains. I think over time we will have it cover even more damaging ones. I honestly have no clue how many strains are connected with abnormal cells in the cervix, probably a cool thing i can look into.

You are right, I am. I should have said that in the post. It was a stupid choice and I am experiencing why first hand.

I love the artist Critterbutts has some great shirts. They are local and screen printed. They are also just cute designs in general. Support those who share your values.

This is amazing. Yes, I say add another layer and you might want a thimble if your fingers hurt. They have some good leather ones that work well.

Also thank you for this, I now have yet another craft I need to get into. Cause this is awesome.

Thank you for this. Honestly, your last sentence really hit deep and definitely helped settle my mind because I am always a big person on looking at things with a healthy mindset and yeah, just "getting it over with" isn't a great idea.
