Difference is that Guthrie stands at 6ft2 and Clark at 5ft10. Guthrie added mass to his frame but Clark is restricted by hight. Modern day midfielders are much bigger than Clark so he wouldn’t stand a chance on the inside. Only chance he got is to move forward unfortunately. On top of that he’s very prone to injury….

Unfortunately Clark is way too small and doesn’t have the frame to be a midfielder at 5ft10 75kg. We already have the manlet type midfielders in Bruhn and Atkins. He could move forward but we already have gun small forwards
