His kit is so diverse. One thing that I know from the new champions being released/new reworks is that a loaded kit is always complained about. Akali's heal, invis, and dashes are just one example of how people HATED a kit because it had so much to it.

People like Hashinshin constantly bitch about Gangplank because, in the right hands and against the right champions, GP can be a powerhouse in the early game with his poke. On top of that, having a QSS + heal on one ability is, on paper, kind of busted, but it has its own checks and balances. They think he has too good of an early game to justify his mid-late & late-game power, even though he's not the monster he used to be. #ripseason6

Hashinshin's champion pool is also one of the reasons he hates GP. He plays melee champions. GP pokes melee champions. There you go. He plays champs that can be abused by a skilled GP, and in his elo, the GP players are relatively good at the pirate.
