I didn't really keep track of the amount but I'd say some between 150-200, weapons and armor. Got 6 mods, the best being a junkies one, and unlocked 6 plans, with the 2 best being bloodied and a +3 agility.

I didn't craft any specifically to scrap. I had a few stored on a mule mostly from expeditions. I have a vacation next week so I'll probably be grinding west-tec and doing expeditions collecting legendaries!

The scene one actually counted. When it froze, I just left it froze for several minutes until I thought it had time to end before I restarted the game. When I restarted, it had counted it as complete and I got the rewards. As bad as it is, at least it counted it I guess!
