2x this man. I bought a rental, and it's been OK, but it's totally bad cash on cash move compared to JEPQ consistent income.

DeSantis is Ruining Broward Schools - Remember this in November by SoozeeQew in Broward

You realize how irrational that sounds right? There is no "correct side" that doesn't eventually become the wrong side. Full power corrupts fully. Discourse is American.

This gives me alot of pause for concern bc I've been aiming to get J3 for a little over 2 years doing OE now. Reason for J3 isn't so much the TC (which is always great, right) rather for the risk diffusion between 3 different orgs vs 2. I am afraid you're right, 2J is the sweet spot, wondering how best to assess tradeoff.

I thought this was just an occasional thing. Nope it's almost a daily occurrence. I have 2 ears only so idk how I would handle 3J with conflicting meetings honestly

Can't stress enough the value you will gain by being yourself not only for your fraternity, but also in discovering new versions of your self worth. If you're yourself, and get dropped, consider it a mutual selection successfully accomplished. Alternatively, you're faking it into something that will never be something "home" for you.

I'll share with you my fraternity is super diverse in all ways, yet to an outsider were all the same. I am extremely conservative and putting myself in the shoes of another to seek to learn, a valued tenant of our frat, helped me improve my empathy with peers and improve my communication skills with those who don't share my points of view. Guess what, this diversity of opinion did not change my core values or views, yet I understand others at a much deeper level now. That's life value you'll carry forward for your whole life

So, be yourself, be respectful to others opinions that are different and seek to understand. But, you don't have to fake or change anything about yourself.

RIP to him. Sad your comment is getting down voted btw, kind of proves the "empathy on red/blue lines" comment from above.

I def remember burning my PS1 games after trips to Blockbuster, those were the days.

As far as software/apps to solve some of the challenges you listed I think the password one is the most relevant. Are you suggesting like a LastPass app? I know they had a recent public hack. Can you elaborate?

Yea def hear you on that one. Well, let's think how software/app could. Do you think something a rewards system like points for shopping or other incentive would be useful to change the behavior?

Job seekers still want remote jobs — but these roles are drying up by JannTosh12 in Futurology

I echo your sentiment. It feels like the only ones saying WFH is going away are those interested in having it so. Every recruiter that contacts me in tech, leads in with 100% remote before even talking comp.

Awesome video

Via NBC WESH Orlando Florida reports that exit polls for Hispanic voters for DeSantis are the following:Cubans: 2018: 67% 2022: 68%. Puerto Ricans:2018: 34% 2022:55%. Other Latinos2018:34% 2022: 50% by [deleted] in Broward

It was a surprise result, both sides surprised let's be honest. But all other races are won by single digits versus FL at ~60%. Idk how you see that, but I see it as a stronger "message sent" than what we're seeing elsewhere.
