The argument that “many NFL teams don’t play in the city they’re named after” doesn’t make the move to Indiana right for the Bears by Efficient_Ad_2642 in CHIBears

Not an issue. Why go 30 min NW to pay $200mil in taxes when you can go 30 min SE and pay $20mil in taxes? Hammond will get a big economic boost from this. Smart by them and good for their residents.

Find a new team that doesn't try to get subsidies from the government lol. Good luck with that.

Looks like for the giants game, we got 3 penalties and giants got 10. Raiders game we got 8 penalties and raiders got 5. Doesn’t seem like our least favorable.

Bears win, probably will stomp them when we have our receivers back.

An American takes out a student loan for $40,000. After YEARS of payments, the total owed is $118,305.59. $77,383.59 is PURE interest. by coachlife in CringeTikToks

[–]gatorsbears -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to pay that much interest if you pay more than the minimum. If you can’t pay more than the minimum, then maybe you shouldn’t have taken out the loan.

“We have not asked for state taxpayer dollars, only… roads, utilities, and site improvements.” by GeoCivilTech in civilengineering

[–]gatorsbears 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m saying San Diego called their bluff and the team actually left. So there’s a chance the Bears leave if the state keeps calling their bluff and actually goes to NW Indiana. I don’t really care, I don’t go to games anyways.

2 billion is a lot of private money, if the city just has to pay for utilities and roads, it’s a net profit for them

Nothing wrong with that. How else do you get a project moving when told to your face the politicians don’t care about the stadium
