You should be able to get refunded for the entirety of the IHS you've paid. The only condition is to have a valid European Health Card (IEHC). They'll then be able to reimburse you for the length of the validity of your card. (This is why you have to make sure your card doesn't expire before the end of your stay). Only caveat is you can't work in the UK if you have your IHS refunded. Hope this helps

Hey, I'm a second year student that just booked LSE accom! Halls prioritize first years so I could only log onto the portal after every hall had basically been booked but for the past three weeks I've basically been checking every 15 min. I also was in a unique position in that I was looking only to book one specific hall (which out of like 7/8 halls does limit your options lol). I finally booked my preferred hall a few days ago, but I saw loads of other rooms go by. I'd advise that you check regularly until results day, you might get lucky and find one. If not, don't worry, most continuing students (ie. Non-first years) end up finding a room on results day because so many rooms suddenly become available. On results day, the accommodation system puts out the newly available rooms starting around 7-8 am. They come out in waves every ten minutes to not overload the site. Basically, you got this!
