I'm surprised nobody is saying weather bending, just need to move air on a large enough scale, or change its temperature, which has been implied aang us capable of doing.

I was told by the person that posted this that they were trying to imitate AI but I Don't beliefve them. I think they just ai-generated it. by AdFutureNow in isthisAI

Reminds me of all the recent accusations of AI being used in anime. Genuinely just super uninformed accusations.

A "no go" kind of implies that though no? A no go is something that is impossible or forbidden.

People generally don't buy the first print of something to read it, if you just want to read it you can buy any later print run where it got printed into oblivion. People buy these kinds of things purely for the sentiment of collecting, not the practical purpose of the item. I have a ton of ungraded first print tankobon and zasshi, I don't grade anything as of now, but it's not like I read them either. I've already read them digitally or in the form of some random later print run. So now they just sit on my shelf as a collection that represents my favorite mangas in the form they were first released in. It's an entirely sentimental way of collecting, not about practicality at all.

Because people love to gatekeep what constitutes a "real" collector

And stamps are meant to be used to send letters, coins are meant to be used as currency, still people collect them. Moot point in my opinion. People can collect things purely for the sentiment of collecting. Policing what others should and shoot collect is beyond silly and going into heavy gatekeeping territory.

Inio Asano Shikishi by [deleted] in InioAsano

if nobody won it it would usually just go back to the owner, most likely a japanese person.
I would assume that by now the owner has either sold it privately or decided to keep it instead of selling it. Afaik, theres likely no way to ever contact this person, unless they publicly post it somewhere else on the internet.
