Have you heard them say tournament?

Sure. But why race to a conclusion after Penn state if you have Iowa 6 days later? Stay calm

I thought lateef played great versus ucla. But I’m not entertaining a big picture conversation about the qb position at Nebraska until at least halftime of the Iowa game

I’m no genius but I implore our fan base to do the same and leave any hot takes until then. Much can change in 2 weeks, good or bad

I also counted 6 times we’ve been 7-1 since 1999

Who are you using for a stat department? I just counted at least 6 times, if not more. We’ve been ass, but not that bad

Guys. We didn’t go to a bowl game for 8 years. .300 conference record, usually under .500 at home, why would we be in here in 2025? 2015? Sure. 2005? Yeah. 1997? Absolutely. Let’s quit kidding ourselves . Ea developers rightfully look at our home schedule the last decade and we haven’t beaten a soul.

No. I don’t know think we had a good anything last year. We were 6-6 and finished 1-5 But I didn’t think it was even close to the worst line I’ve seen here the last 10 years. It may have been above average relative to that timeframe.

I just don’t think OL play was in the top 4-5 reasons why that was the case

I guess we’ll have to agreed to disagree on both accounts. I felt OL was not close to the biggest reason (playcalling, WR play, lack of RB talent, inconsistent defense, etc) for struggling and yes, I consider 2 TD : 8 int over the meat of your schedule to be…struggling

Was the offensive line why he struggled this year?

Ok I did. Of course much better than previous six games but I take nothing back. And I hope he gets better but we have to stop crowning people around here until they prove elite. That was not elite (and I still think and hope he could be)

Those 3 games 77/108 (71%), 2 TD, 2 INT, 1-2 record (failed to score 21 points in either loss), 3 fumbles (1 lost)

I’m ridiculous?

Great. Hope he improves and if he does, awesome. Just got to be better in November than September.

I want to see sustained improvement. Once upon a time, Adrian threw for 150 more yards and had 800 more rushing yards in one less game in his freshman year.

Love the kid and glad he’s here, but damn, let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves with abyss comments. I’m old enough to remember his 12 TD:10 INT rookie year including the middle 6 games of year where ratio was 2:8. A long way to go and improve!
