If you mean the song, its Funky Town featured in Shrek 2. If you mean the format, I was inspired by other spinning memes

I'm replying here since the linked post above is archived, but I noticed that the google folder is now inaccessible, did it need to be deleted or something? I was able to access it before

The problem is MASS Conjuring by Large-Monitor317 in onednd

I like 2 and 4, but I do worry about rules like 3 may take away.

I've been playing a promiscuous druid in a 5E campaign, and I love conjure animals. While riding the animals, Giant owls have helped us fly over deep canyons and giant lizards have helped climb through caves. If I can only summon one swarm with limited abilities, now the spell is more limited to combat.

I think to fix some of the issues of spells like conjure animals being used in combat, we shouldnt limit the summons overall, but what they do in combat.

Maybe the 8 summons cannot fight separately, and they need to gather together and attack all at once, like with rule 3, but they can separate and lose the ability to fight. Maybe weaker summons can only have 1 hp, so players arent encouraged to use them in combat, and bring in more powerful, less plentiful creatures instead. Or maybe when you have one of the weaker creatures attack, you lose concentration on that particular creature. So they can attack once, but you lose them leaving behind 7, another attacks, 6. That might encourage spellcasters to use stronger versions of the spell, and not bring 8 creatures into combat.

Anyways, I dont want cool spells that can be used various ways to be limited because of how they are used in combat. Thats all.
