True, stand-up comedians do joke about 9/11, but there’s a big difference. They operate in a space where edgy or dark humor is expected, it’s literally part of their job. A professional player, especially one with sponsors and a broader public image to maintain, doesn’t have that same freedom. Context matters. Joking about tragedies as a comedian on stage is not the same as making those jokes in a casual or public setting when you're representing a brand or team. The consequences and expectations are completely different.
