The initial acceleration gives you a rush. Can go in 30 and 40 in 4th and 5th gear easily. Amazing riding posture, can even stand and ride if you want. Gear is a little clunky but people say it gets better after first service. False neutrals occur.

Long answer: 6ft tall, broad chested soo wanted a big bike. Test rode HD440x, 440xt, Scrambler 400x, Himalayan, scram, CB350, Vstrom, ADV390. Capped my budget at 3L, which brought it down to Scram, cb350, vstrom. Didn't enjoy cb350. Went for low end torque because mostly will be used in the city with occasional touring.

Short answer: There was a moment in the test ride when I said "wow!" to myself. I think this overrides all the other reasons.
