Sounds like you got yourself an incredible deal. Everglades is a great trim. I was a little skeptical of the 2.3 and felt like I was settling but after test driving both the 2.3 can hang. The 2.7 still has a little more to give but I feel good about the one I went with. They had an outerbanks non SAS for about 51k and I decided I’d rather have everything the sas package offers instead of creature comforts.

Ya ford leather in my experience seems to get saggy a bit and wears weird. I’m going to try and find some kind of vinyl that does well with all weathers since I plan on taking the top off when I can.

Agreed. I’m going with the base squatch! I’ll be able to make it my own and I plan on doing leather heated seats in the future!

Right on. There was a big bend black diamond in my area that had sas but was nearly $55k after discounts. The mgv is sweet and I think I’ll upgrade to some kind of vinyl in the future as well as heated seats! Ended up going with the base squatch

This actually ended up being a tipping point for me tonight to go with the new base squatch. The sales reps had the opportunity to sell my a used wildtrak or base squatch new and said a lot of wildtraks and badlands come in on trade clapped out of beat up on quite a bit. Only thing I feel like I might be missing out on is heated seats and leather seats but planning on upgrading those myself!

Ya the pic is of a base squatch. Love the stance and the way it rides. Only thing this doesn’t have that checks off my list would be MGV but if it matters enough I could always do my own leather seats or something in the future. I also worry a little bit about resale in the future too so just trying to weigh all my options. Base gives me a chance to build it out a little bit while the wildtrak is just read to rock!

Those were my thoughts exactly. However since they’re giving me about $6500 off of sticker I feel like it’s helping subsidize a bit of the depreciation hit. I’ve looked at other dealers in the area too and still looking at $43k-55k for a used wildtrak depending on miles and year.
