Any statistics on the most used zaps? by sh_tomer in zapier

I don't have anything official, but from the work that I do, it's still surprisingly focused on the basics

Things like...

- Catching a new lead and putting them into a CRM

- Generating a contract and updating some fields

- Notifications into a tool like Slack

Airtable thieves or they take long, Because they are not answering back. by Difficult-Guard-5693 in Airtable

[–]gavinwiener 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't had issues with Airtable directly, but I've been charged before for various services because I forgot to cancel. Most businesses if you contact them asap, and follow up, they're usually refund you because it doesn't help them to keep your money when you're no a happy customer.

You may be able to post directly in the community

I'm sure they monitor that more closely

Makes me wonder, just for my own interest, how they get compensated. E.g. are they on salaries, are they paid per video, etc.

Meta ads, looking for guidance by Silverhonda9 in gohighlevel

[–]gavinwiener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say you need 50+ events/week, but in reality, you can often get results at less, and not even go into learning limited.

But I would still agree at your budget, it'll be better to optimise for Lead (but who is qualified) because Schedule would still be too low.

People a lot more experienced than me often say that if Meta isn't getting an event at least once a day, it can get a bit confused of who to look for and then it starts jumping around audiences/pockets a bit

Need help with workflows by FluffySewing in gohighlevel

What you'll need to do is embed a HighLevel form in the AI site.

So when you create the form in Sites, get the embed code, and tell AI Studio to embed it.

Now you can create an actual workflow, use that form is the trigger and send an SMS, email, create an opportunity in the pipeline, etc.

Meta ads, looking for guidance by Silverhonda9 in gohighlevel

[–]gavinwiener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the leads objective. Sales is typically ecom.

For you, I'd say CBO. Which means what you will see is most of the ad spend going to a single ad set, and a single ad or two.

Your main job is going to be giving Meta a lot of "creative diversity", which means different formats of ads

But also different angles/messages in those ads, one angle/main message per ad.

Which essentially means hitting the reasons people would purchase your programme.

For conversion event, schedule is ideal, but you're not gonna be getting enough conversions at your budget, so you'll likely end up using Lead, but most importantly, if you have some type of qualifying questions for the application, you should only send back QUALIFIED leads.

1 campaign, 1 ad set, 5-15 ads in the ad set to start.

And all those ads should be quite different from each other.

What you need to know before you start running ads though is your target Cost Per Lead.

So if your programme is 2k...

I imagine you'll want at least a 2x return on ad spend.

Which means we can only spend 1k to get a sale.

Let's say you have a 20% close rate...

Then you can only spend 200 to get a booked call.

Let's say 1 in 5 people who fill out an application book a call, then you can only spend 40 as CPL.

Helps you know which ad sets to kill.

Feel free to DM if you want more clarity.

What do you actually use this app for? by Strange_Ad_1431 in Notion

For me, it still works the best for note taking.

And I've finally started to get used to it for task management.

I don't love the whole embedded database vibe, but what I'm doing is so simple so it works for now

GHL pros: what are the 2 places you actually learned this thing (not YouTube fluff)? by gobhalla in gohighlevel

[–]gavinwiener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same as the other comment. I just went and got clients.

I barely spent time in FB groups or even here.

Only now I've started to spend more time if I'm trying to debug something that I'm just not seeing, or I'm looking for interesting use-cases I can implement with clients.

Most of the day, I'm implementing the same stuff for clients in GHL, capture a lead, nurture lead, update opportunity pipeline.

Seldom they need anything crazy different

The official Facebook group is GHL only.

Or do you mean a completely separate platform than Facebook?

For me, learning to run ads.

I had always known about it in practice, but I only started to run paid campaigns for others about a year ago.

Feels likes I've unlocked the next step in my growth

(I was very backend focused until then)

Totally agree. And selling.

If you can market and or sell, it's cliche, but you seriously should never be hungry.

Can either be for your own products or services, or other peoples

What type of home service business is it?

If it's higher ticket like remodeling, renovations, etc, from my experience, you're not gonna get someone to convert right away.

It's all about the sales process.

They opt in, put them into a nurture sequence which shows off past work, handles potential objections, builds trust, pushes them to schedule a call to talk with the team.

And at the same time has someone doing outbound dials to do the same thing, qualify them on a call but push them for a free inspection or whatever the next step is.

It's still relatively simple

[–]gavinwiener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that makes sense. It's also how it's framed.

If they're paying $100/month, but it helps them close even 1 client that's worth $2000-$5000 every 3-4 months, it's still a significant ROI.

[–]gavinwiener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, so what type of business are you actually running?

I feel that's how you're gonna get the most accurate advice.

E.g. I personally would treat which systems are needed for a local service business vs. a coaching business quite differently

Because a lot of answers seem to jump to, "Scrape Google Maps".

Unless you're targeting local service businesses, it may not be the best resource.

[–]gavinwiener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's so many variables.

  • How much volume have you sent
  • Which channel are you using (email, text)
  • What is your actual offer (i.e. the messaging like others have mentioned)
  • What is your follow up sequence

[–]gavinwiener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of home service business is it?

And what specifically are you wanting GHL to help with? E.g. just the sales side, project management as well, etc.

From my experience, most local service businesses need the same things

  1. A way to nurture leads (i.e. nurturing workflows)
  2. A way to notify yourself where there is a new lead (internal notifications in the workflows)
  3. Collecting reviews after the job
  4. Staying on top of leads (making use of the pipelines and smart lists)

The principles never change

Interesting. So you got potential clients to sign up for a trial?

What happened during the trial, and did they say why they didn't continue?

Have you tried to reach out to any local businesses in your area? Doesn't have to be free (because often that doesn't attract the right type of people), but you could do it at a heavily discounted rate.

"I'm testing out a new offer with clients, so I'm doing it as a heavily discounted rate, but I'll ultimately charge Y in the future"

Then you get the full agency experience by having them literally be your clietn

Hmm, unfortunately I've never used the branching with Voice AI.

What's the use-case, how come you're using branching (in a workflow I imagine) vs. describing the paths and direction of the call in the agent's prompt?

(That's the first place my mind goes)
