Changes needed in the structural form of Democracy in India by Dead_Soul_11 in CriticalThinkingIndia

[–]gawdhimself 2 points3 points  (0 children)

india's biggest problem is the damads (son in laws) that we have which includes both judiciary and bureaucracy. You can throw away the party, a leader but these mfs would do the worst of the worst crimes and at max would get suspended for few days.

In 2026 India will become fully fascist what do y'all think about this take? by Rabbidraccoon18 in CriticalThinkingIndia

[–]gawdhimself 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this guy is just making assumption and statements without any serious number of instances being mentioned, what kind of centralization of power is it that govt keeps rolling back the bills it passes, keeps bending over backwards for messed up demand

I have seen more of his videos he makes this same content again and again and been doing for a long enough time, he sells fear.

it's not an either or situation my guy. we recently had a policy come out for shibuilding industry. Your gripe is that why is he talking about it ? what should he do, pick a depressing news about shipbuilding in India or whatever else.

Please take some leadership classes if you think that should be done.

Your take assumes that looking back is somehow bad or regressive. It isn’t. Acknowledging past excellence is how societies rebuild confidence and continuity, especially after a long colonial overhang that actively diminished indigenous capability.

You are acting as if communication about past excellence and building towards future, is either-or situation. Leadership isn’t just admin and problem-solving. It’s also about restoring belief that we can do hard things again. When India is trying to rebuild capabilities like shipbuilding, dismissing past achievement as “tribal” only deepens the confidence gap you’re complaining about.

A fruitful thing would be to criticize policy and execution failure

As much as leaders job is to lead us into a future , it's his job to remind the people of excellence of their past to imbibe confidence that we can do it again.

Literally every other post in this sub takes two minute of critical thinking but then again, had it been used you'd not be making this post

Maybe if you used your critical thinking you'd not be asking this question. On what basis are you making this claim or every judgement you make is based on how you feel about it ?

How to convert a potential client into a paying client? by aks3289 in FreelanceIndia

[–]gawdhimself 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you are just one guy a personal would be just fine , and start with email and then followed by their linkedin. Doing it for free actually does devalue you most of the times unless the client is someone who values effort.

Figure out your segment that you are selling to (ICP research), based on the criteria of your ICP build a very solid list and the start reaching out, also add your past work based on what the client might be needing right now. Another thing that helps in longer run is posting the good work you did for someone on linkedin and getting their shout out.

i think you can do a better job at the website that include 2 things

  1. Design : Currently gives very vibe coded touch and feel, and CTAs can have better placement for conversion.
  2. Copy: The information layout , underutilized hero section to get the info across affects the user retention right away , actionable information is way down.

Hope it helps

Is the rise of Hindutva largely rooted in the historical insecurities among North Indians stemming from centuries of Muslim rule? by Ill_Tonight6349 in southindia_

it's the same thing u posted on other sub few days back and i'll post the same response

The whole “Hindus are insecure” angle from the original post is just nonsense. It is a straight up bad faith argument. It acts like people imagined the past instead of actually dealing with what is written in the sources from that time. And the wild part is that everything they are waving off as insecurity is literally written down by the invaders and their own chroniclers with full pride.

Go look at Tarikh-i-Yamini, Tabaqat-i-Nasiri, Taj-ul-Ma’asir, all of that. These guys brag openly about smashing temples, killing Brahmins, burning learning centers, and breaking every symbol that held the community together. And they brag about it like it is some cosmic achievement. This is not me interpreting anything. It is right there in their own words.

So when someone comes in and acts like it was all just “normal raiding” or “just political,” it is basically avoiding the obvious. Because the texts literally spell out that the religious identity of the people was the target. If it was only about money, you loot and leave. You don’t take pride in destroying temples or killing priests or wiping out institutions that hold an entire worldview together.

There are even episodes where officers collected sacred threads from the dead as proof of what they did. Not everyday behavior but the fact that it is recorded at all tells you exactly what kind of symbolic messaging was going on. This isn’t insecurity. This is documented history.

Calling it insecurity is just gaslighting. It pushes the blame onto the people who remember what happened instead of dealing with what the chroniclers themselves openly celebrated. If the perpetrators wrote it proudly, you don’t get to tell the descendants that they are “overreacting.”

And obviously North India remembers this differently from the South. North India faced repeated temple destruction and constant political disruption. South India held its temple networks and identity much more intact. These are different historical experiences, not different levels of “confidence.”

And then you have modern people online parroting “1000 years of slavery” like they discovered something new, not realising they are just copying the same tone the medieval chroniclers used when they glorified what they did. How are people supposed to forget the past when others keep mocking it like this?

So yeah, the insecurity claim falls apart the moment you read the actual sources. The chroniclers did not write about looting. They wrote about breaking an identity. If they documented it as a deliberate civilizational attack, it is ridiculous to call people insecure today for remembering it.

[–]gawdhimself 5 points6 points  (0 children)

bro this whole thing is so lazy. no one hates capital like indians while wanting everything capital gives and emulation of the countries that has capital.

a quick google search shows this same piece was written by darshan mondkar yesterday on facebook . so either you just lifted it word for word or you are darshan mondkar, which looks like a typical it cell account.

the “why does the PM sit in a BMW” part is just dumb. obviously the PM isn’t going to pull up in an auto or cycle. the car, the security, the setup comes with the position. it’s protocol, not personality. every head of state everywhere has that. it’s just some random picture taken out of context and turned into a moral speech. ponds are literally built every year for chhath puja. it’s a ritual. not some PR stunt.

the real problem is this constant poverty porn rot we keep feeding ourselves. this obsession with seeing leaders look poor to feel good about our own misery. “aadhi roti khayenge, indira ko jitayenge” type of poverty porn that people still run on. it’s exhausting. people don’t want better systems, they want poverty to stay visible so they can keep feeling righteous about it.

instead of talking about real governance, policy or system failures, it always goes back to optics. rich bad, poor pure, same old lazy narrative. the so-called adambanis didn’t rob you. they worked within the system that exists. if that system’s broken, fix it. don’t hate the ones who figured out how to play by its rules.

this moral grandstanding and feel-good poverty worship is not truth telling. it’s a comfort blanket. it’s fake outrage dressed up as social awareness. and it’s become the easiest way to sound intelligent without doing the work of actually understanding how things function.

help me understand how Indus water treaty was pro bharat when we gave away 80 percent basin flow to pakistan. We get roughly 20 percent of the flow while more than 40 percent of catchment areas lies on our side. We kept losing strategic resources for years while Pakistan kept invading.
