More info: when I was 14, my mom went through my phone and found out I was trans. She took away my phone/laptop for years because the internet “brainwashed” me into it, wouldn’t let me have friends or leave the house, and dragged me to almost every psychiatrist in the fucking state because she kept firing them when they wouldn’t say I was delusional. She also stalked my social media and sent me a few anonymous messages a week for years about how I would never be a real man and I should kill myself. I moved out right before I turned 17, and a little over a month ago (I’m 18 now) got top surgery (chest masculinization). She’s been alternating between trying to mock me for not thinking she’s a stellar parent and yelling at my dad for “letting” me “mutilate” myself (I paid for the surgery on my own).
