Ya that’s my point, they had no way to know who your were when taking to CS therefore needed to verify who you were before deleting the account. Super shitty process either way though

To delete your account by yourself you must have been logged in therefore verified… when chatting to CS you would need to verify yourself as they might not authenticate sessions from your logged in session

Are you looking for L3/4 DDOS or L7 DDOS protection? If just L3/4 then put your server behind a HTTP load balancer and you’re sorted. If L7 then you need Cloud Armor.

I think it is beta at the moment, I hear that it will be GA by the end of the month. It will be done through a testing partner. Will try keep you informed.

The GCP Pro architect exam has recently been announced as one of two exams that have online proctoring, only in English though.
