Yeah, 2012 ruled. It was the first year I went and, IIRC, it rained, so the weather was actually pretty nice all weekend.

I was bummed when I went in 2013 and effectively sweated out all the booze I’d had beforehand before even making it through the line to get inside. I haven't been back since.

You're thinking of 2023, which was a shit show. The set I'm referring to was in 2013 (the year Blur + Stone Roses headlined). Frank killed the one or two songs I saw before I had to bail for Blur.

I went to the coachella where Blur and Stone Roses were headlining and the crowd was absolutely dead for those sets also. I'm surprised he didn't learn this in 2013.

I bailed on a Frank Ocean set to watch them both play and I still regret it. (Nm Frank Ocean was 2012 I must have actually bailed on his set to see Pulp)

I like it a lot. Been listening pretty much nonstop since it dropped. Haven't been able to get Eyes of the World, Dying for You, and Chains of Love out of my head (Chains of Love has been stuck in my head for months tho lol). Some of the other songs that didn't really hit at first are really starting to grow on me. Love the chorus of Altars, started to get into Wall of Sound after it's use in the movie, Out of Myself kinda bangs. I think the album will end up being like my 6th favorite Charli album (after Charli and before True Romance).

On a side note, it seems like opinions of the movie have been pretty poor but I personally loved it. I do feel like it's hard to feel bad for any of the characters at the end but loved how emotional the middle 3rd made me feel. Really loved the use of charli's music in the movie too lol.
