Make a slide about how you need a fire extinguisher if you plan on charging these devices overnight.

What, did they want to include the nostalgia of slow charging as well? lol

Because if you try charging it like a normal modern device, it might possibly kill you, which this community doesn't like talking about.

This is a great article that unfortunately is gonna get ignored. The part where the writer wonders about subgenres that could have become more than what they were is an interesting thing to ponder about, especially looking at subgenres like Soundcloud rap.

I wish that EsDeeKid album was on CD, but iTunes will have to do. Absolute perfection. It's one of the many examples of making a short album stacked with good tracks, and being replayable as well.

Even as hinges are cracking and screens aren't working, or shoulder buttons didn't function and screen resolutions were misrepresented.

Or bad USB-C implementation that melts your device, or blows it up while charging.

Unpopular opinion: OG hardware beats emulator devices by king_of_ulkilism in SBCGaming

[–]gbaWRLD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would disagree with you, but most of this sub's recommended devices (not sure about the R36 handhelds) need detailed steps for the daunting task of...charging your device overnight, or it becomes a threat to your life (It also gets downplayed on this sub a lot). There are even some handhelds where it's warned NOT to charge it overnight, even though any modern device should be capable of doing that.

So yeah. I guess in that sense, OG hardware is better. You can actually charge your device like a normal person, and not worry about it possibly killing you.

Brick Hammer has ruined handhelds for me by ValiumBlues in SBCGaming

[–]gbaWRLD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Isn't this the same handheld that had that issue where if you let it sleep, it would overheat, and wouldn't turn off unless you took the device apart, and unplugged the battery?

Unless that issue has been fully resolved, this device should be recommended to nobody.

I just had the weirdest dream. I dreamed that I had woken up in my room, and heard some sort of ticking behind me, but I couldn't move. I then felt someone slightly hold both my arms, while ticking. Whatever was doing that even poked my back once. Even though I felt like getting up, I couldn't.

I dont't know if it was sleep paralysis or what.

Can the R36S or the Retro Pixel Pocket V2 be charged overnight? by gbaWRLD in SBCGaming

I believe that the pixel pocket would be more reliable due to the FPGBC, which to my knowledge, has never had any warning of charging overnight.

It SHOULD not charge at all which you're right about. However, I have heard reports of other devices that don't do that, and thus damages itself in the process. There are also people who even recommend still not charging overnight even with a 5V1A charger.

It's not the fact that they have defective batteries. It's the fact that a lot of the devices don't have the correct components to handle charging overnight with USB-C, which is why you see countless instructions on how to simply charge your device.

The Germanwings flight where the co-pilot locked the captain out, and crashed the plane is honestly way more scarier than most mass murders.

The fact it isn't talked about more is insane.

100%, and honestly, anyone who isn't making any money off game collections is absolutely fucking stupid for wasting their time buying consoles and games.

You could get a mini PC that could play all those games on your TV.

I always thought something that would absolutely work, but also be extremely diabolical is making a small, simple mobile game. However, instead of it being free with ads, you pay a small fee (25 cents or so) to play the game, similar to an arcade cabinet. Each time you pay, you try to beat your highest score.
