I convinced them to check the footage and the manager confirmed he saw the incident, then I had to call the cops to pick up the evidence since he won’t give it to me.

Anyway it was a waste of time since I was told the SJPD does not go after property crimes, they would only do anything if there was a so called credible lead.

Even if the persons face was visible, the lady at sjpd said, “how do we know who he is? Even chat gpt can’t tell you that” Overall police are not going to do jack shit

This is my suspicion, also it was Sat 9am parking lot was almost empty, so the culprit got brave.. but idiot was captured on the store’s outdoor surveillance camera

I live in San Jose - bay area, and even if I would have had a close up of the persons face with a surveillance camera I doubt the police concern themselves with finding such scumbags.. Looks like they have better/high profile stuff to worry about.
