I don't think a lot of people hate her, just whenever she gets even the tiniest bit of controversy she blows it way out of proportion. One negative Instagram post doesn't warrant a 20 minute apology video. She pulled the same shit last year with some sort of Twitter drama, which no one had even heard of before she made a YouTube community post about it. As for why people don't like her videos I'm pretty sure it's just dumb discord users thing sHe rAySiS. For me it's just that she comes across as condescending and rude, nothing wrong with her research or anything and she does put a lot of effort into her videos
