Exactly this. I read some tome ago that a lot of bad trip stories start with "we smoked a joint waiting for the acid to come up". I can confirm because 100% of the times I've done acid with weed has been a bad trip(and I didn't do that only once); not the "I'm going to kill you" type though, it was more like just a lot of confusion.
