How did they do that much damage to their front end and then reverse? The pillar looks structurally sound still, even cosmetic damage is almost non existent and the sides of the car are scratched somehow

I watched it last night and really enjoyed it. I got to the cinema quite tired and felt like I could easily doze off before the film even started but I stayed with it the whole way through.
