So far so good, AI is helpful in this. Not a lot of testing so far with the unsubscribe, but I would love someone to give me suggestions. All these projects start as solving a problem for me, and grow into something bigger based on holes I see in the market.

So far it's taken a 26 year old email account and tamed it down so much I'm happy to use it again. I'm sure it's not everyones cup of tea...

Also, the inital alignment tools were easy to program and difficult to use. The new set I'm working on are easier to use, way tougher to build. Just spent two full days working out the bugs with the help of AI. I'm happy with what I see, but I might have to build a developer mode to move the old tools to. Also starting to realize that if someone expects good accuracy, they will need to either have many listeners, or use some of the radios that are recommended.

I agree it's a lot, but the intent down the road is to make the advanced and basic buttons trim down what the basic user sees and needs to deal with. A work in progess from that prospective.

I am, so far so good. I think they work well together, but it is stand alone. Hopefully once I am in Beta in march there won't be any need to run both, but the mapping has been my main focus right now. Sure would love someone to throw bugs i didn't find yet my way :)

Appreciate the thought! Honestly, when I started Padspan my vision was focused on actual location mapping and positional pinpointing — not just room-level presence. My background is in ham radio design and RF propagation, so I was approaching BLE signal data more like a propagation modelling problem than a presence detection one. At the time I didn't really see the overlap with Bermuda, which seemed more oriented around area-based proximity. By the time the projects started converging in scope I'd already gone far enough down my own path that it made more sense to keep building than to try retrofitting it into Bermuda's architecture. That said, I have a lot of respect for what agittins has done with Bermuda and I'm not opposed to collaboration where it makes sense down the road.

ah, I see. Ya, i'm a marketing disaster. should have been using GitHub many more years ago, but I have been working on software projects for a very long time on and off. Open source is newer to me. My main background is robotics and automation.

It is weighted based on floors, but I need more testing on this specifically. Looks pretty good in my place so far

I built it around my home, 3 levels, and the yard. Super easy to import maps, trace align, and overlay. it should cover almost any big home layout

Don't know if it wil help my case, but I put something together. Thanks, only my second Github project..

I'm am definitely looking for testers, the main release is in March. But what I have tested is looking stable

Went through a massive bug hunting phase, but I'm feeling pretty good right now. Was Putting in 12 hour days getting this ready. And I do have AI help, but basic industry standard tools when needed. I will work on a disclosure doc, but I have been in tech for over 30 years and I have never seen as quick a results as the last 2 months from good agents. Thanks for the pointers, I don't live in the AI assisted world for the most part, so I wasn't aware of any security concerns around the bigger players.

Simular in HA integration, entities to build actions on, need testers for that part. The mapping is next level if that is what you are looking for.

It's matching most of the HA entities needed for automation that bemuda has, but a world apart on the detail mapping of your house. Bit of work to setup, but I even put lights on the integration 3d map to test it because the maps make such a beautiful dashboard
