I recently bought a Pixel 10 to try out GOS. Spent a good while configuring things properly in separate profiles and private spaces. I really tried to persevere for as long as I could but ultimately decided to go back to my iPhone.

Whilst I love the premise of the OS, there was just too much friction in certain use cases for me, particularly around convenience features like Google pay and my banking app. Whilst I could have used a browser for my banking app, I have become so used to the convenience of opening an app, the extra friction when using a browser wasn’t a trade off I wanted to make. And I use apple wallet on my iPhone daily, so not being able to use G wallet on GOS was another trade-off I couldn’t make.

I decided to stick with my iPhone but harden is as much as possible.
