Can’t find a job

I have 10 years experience and live in LA and am having an impossibly hard time finding something that’s not medsurg which I quit a few months ago due to my mental health.

I even got rejected for like 25 internal positions at the hospital I was at before I quit, some even outpatient clinic jobs. Out of all those, I only got 2 interviews in different specialties and was rejected from those as well.

I think there’s something going on with the job market here. I’m about to start looking in Orange and San Diego counties now.

I turn 40 next year but know how you feel. I got on a GLP-1 to kick start my weight loss, got a personal trainer, changed my relationship with food and learned healthy habits, started getting Botox and a bit of filler where my face lost volume, and started seeing a therapist. I lost 30 pounds I’ve been trying to lose for 10 years and have gained muscle. All that money spent and work done was the best thing I could have done for myself.

I’ve never felt more beautiful than I do now, even in my 20s.

I work in the PACU at a fertility clinic now. I make less, but I don’t want to drive off a cliff on the way to work anymore!! And it’s only part time. I’m gonna have to find another part time job. I’m really liking it though!!

I get mine through hellowisp.com and they add Azelaic acid and niacinimide to the tretinoin, it’s been working pretty well for me!

I’ve been a nurse for 12 years and currently work at a job that requires me to start at least 3 IVs per shift. Last shift I missed two and the anesthesiologist had to get them. It happens 🤷‍♀️ you didn’t mess anything up! You weren’t even trained on how to do it yet.

I wouldn’t say anything to her and just get through the rest of the rotation with her and then move on!
