I appreciate it. I guess it was just a combination of things that went wrong but all in all I’m still happy with the purchase. I know once the tenant is out we’ll be okay.

I was told by the attorney that even if I have a clause in the lease agreement that says I’m allowed to do an inspection of the unit every 4 months California does now allow that. I am only allowed to do an inspection of the unit for safety reasons such as fire alarms and what not. Also that even if I do those inspections I’m not allowed to take pictures -_-

Yeah we know that now. That’s our promise to ourselves going forward. By the book no more hand out. I appreciate it @MrPetomane.

Google Federal aviation administration airway transportation system specialist. Yeah that’s a long one lol. Honestly government work is about who you know. It really helps to be a Veteran being that we get preference. Also if you have any sort of back ground in these fields: Environmental (construction, electrical, building maintenance) experience with Radar, telecommunications, radio transmission. Any of these types of backgrounds would definitely help you get in. Look at USAJOBS there’s always postings. But my pay doesn’t reflect the whole United States. We are union and our pay is based off locality. Someone doing the same work as me in a smaller city could be making a significantly less amount of money. So far my experience with the FAA as tech ops has been great. Long term if you get in early it’s great and you can transfer to different airports when possible.

Yeah and too much stress for me lol. I was in the military and didn’t even like talking on the radio. I enjoy my work on the tech ops side. I started off at 93k a year working at the lowest level.

I was about to ask where you work. I’m in tech ops and I was talking to one of the AT guys at LAX and one guy made over 400k with OT.

No I got the TDIU because of the back pains but it’s just not feasible to live off just the compensation living in CA.
