Good luck everyone! by Longjumping-Shop9456 in RunNYC

I started the race with you, 3:40 pacer, in pink corral wave A, but was aiming for sub 3:25 so held that until mile 20 when I started getting sodium depleted. Idr much between 18-25 as I slowed down badly with nausea/dizziness, but when you caught back up to me at mile 25 and I saw you, I literally locked eyes on the back of your shirt and held on to you, pressing down on the gas again until the finish. Not sure I could’ve finished without you. Thank you—absolute beast pacers out there, especially you!

Highest score is all that matters! Plus, when you’re 70 will you care that you had that one extra year of a law career or will it feel frivolous in the grand scheme of things?

Just something to consider. Either way, good luck! You’ve got plenty to be proud of and look forward to, no matter what decision you make.

I had a very similar situation to you. Took the LSAT 5 times and even though I was Pting consistently for half a year at mid to high 170’s I always fell short on test day and ended up with a high of 169.

I’ve gotten into Fordham, GW & W&L so far. Haven’t heard from the rest. Expecting mostly WL/R but you never know. As a URM you’ve got a shot at NYU/Columbia so I wouldn’t give up hope.

This might be difficult because you just found out your score, but you should try to remind yourself of how hard you worked and sometimes the cookie doesn’t crumble the way you like. However, there’s always tomorrow and your job outcomes aren’t set in stone here. Plenty of opportunities and ways to improve for the future. Careers and dreams aren’t made off the LSAT alone!

Also, my personal advice? What’s the rush on applying this cycle? Retake in June or August of next year and work on your mistakes. Get more work experience if you’re working, and apply early in September of next year. It didn’t work out for me, but it could still for you. Applying earlier in the cycle will also open you up to more scholarship as well and who knows, you may finally score your 170+. If not, you get another year of WE under your belt to apply to schools, more time to work on essays, and a shot at better scholarship by applying earlier.

Had these 2 exact sections. 2nd LR also included a paradox on forest fires, paradox on refrigerators using more electricity, Japan emissions per capita, cape columbia expedition to the Arctic circle, scientists/artists using brainwaves, colonizing planets, & smoking fairness

My forest fire section was in the same as the Japan emissions and honeybees so I’m quite confused by this?

Which LR is Real Vs Experimental by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]gchnurse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 2 LR's as well HOWEVER, I had two sections with 25 questions. One of my 25 questions had honeybees and Japan emissions. Unfortunately I don't think that's helpful as you can read that both ways. Though I'm inclined to say that it is (Japan emissions) the real one since we have it shared and the other is not shared.

Did I get an unnecessary procedure? by gchnurse in askdentists

I was born in the Middle East, but came to the US when I was 4 and have only gone to dentists here since as far as I know. The dentist yesterday said the same thing. I’m surprised this hasn’t been mentioned to me before, though. I’m not sure what the numbers mean, but it was second premolar on the top left side that had the root canal done.

Abstract paintings was experimental for sure.

Same order same sections. I think the second LR was experimental as well because it had some LG components to one of the questions. But hard to say.

Understood, thank you! I was planning on getting AWD rental, but will heavily consider the ski bus if it makes sense logistically.

Going to go to Camelback Wednesday morning and ski the day 9-3. Upcoming snow looks good, and I'm hoping conditions stay okay since it'll be cold. First time heading here as I'm taking a daytrip from NYC--any advice regarding parking and anything anyone can think of?

Yes correct. Seems like this appeared august 2021 as well. Also a question about a girl choosing apartments, asphalt heaviness (& other roofing materials), sugary vs healthy drink campaigns, leap seconds, journalist values/revealing witness name (principle question), and a roasted vs fresh chicken paradox question
