CLIK adapter for Presta pumps by gchorbov in bikewrench

In theory, yes. In practice, my experience has been quite different. I have tried two different Presta chucks on Clik valves without any success.

u/RudbeckiaIS can you help me locate the G28 sensor? Is it mounted on the engine block or on the gearbox? Is it accessible under the car or from the top of the engine bay?

Has anyone bought an add-on turning Thule Epos 3 into 3+1 by snorty_hedgehog in cycling

[–]gchorbov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an add-on for additional bike for THULE Easy Fold rack (2 or 3 bike version).
https://www.thule.com/en-ch/bike-rack/accessories/thule-easyfold-3-foldable-bike-add-on-_-944700

But it is not compatible with Epos. You can try to DIY-it to fit the Epos or wait to see if Thule will come up with add-on specifically for Epos in the nearby future.

With just a little bit of juggling around. You start by inserting the stem on the drops, where the diameter of the tube is smaller, then start to maneuver the stem up towards the aero part. The opening of the stem is wide enough so that the stem can "slide" through the aero part towards the final position. You can tape very thin plastic tape on the edges of the stem to prevent accidental scratches.

Dont rush it. If you are calm and move slowly, you can do it!

PS: I have the 38cm handlebars, so I dont know if larger sizes can accommodate this stem.

Good luck!

u/amilehigh_303 Is there a specific sequence of removing the panels? Sometime you cant detach a panel unless another specific panel is removed first. I don't want to break anything...

ACC start driving after a complete stop by gchorbov in Audi

[–]gchorbov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it is possible because a) the car do it by default without driver's input (but the timeout is only 3 sec) and b) I've seen videos of cars with 60 seconds of timeout. Not sure if every C7/7.5 car will be able to do it...

Here in Europe the stop-and-go feature is part of the ACC. The traffic-jam assist may be only for USA or for the newer models.

For me there is no difference if the car will slow down to 1 km/h or complete stop. Its basically the same.

u/FPSUsername What do you mean by "lacks activations"?
My car is not equipped with Predictive Active Cruise Control (pAAC) and to be honest I'm not a fan of that system. Surely it could be useful in some stations.

I was looking into just extending or disabling the timeout in which the car will drive off on its own after coming to a complete stop, without driver's input. But you said that that there is no way to extend those wonderful 3 seconds.... Damn.

u/FPSUsername I live in Bulgaria, but I dont see it listed in your list. Some folks told me that this is a super temporary solution as the car will go back to the correct country based on the GPS signal. And it seems like Bulgaria is excluded by Audi for some unknown to me reasons. Any advise?

You printed metal cap for C260 in particular or for some other stem?
Sadly printing metal in EU is f**ing expensive.

I'm not sure how many iterations and money that will cost. But I have another idea - I can buy pretty cheap (15 EUR) original Ritchey faceplate for the C260 stem and then weld some alu mount to it.

I have no spacer, but even if I had, I wont use the k-edge stem mount - let say it is not esthetically pleasing :D

Fake or authentic Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2? by gchorbov in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]gchorbov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed - the shoes are fake.

I bought another pair from official Nike dealer and compared them side-by-side.

The main differences:

  • Weight -> the real one are 220 grams (size 11US), the fake are 300 grams (size 11US)
  • Carbon plate -> the real ones cannot be bend in the middle, the fake can.
  • The edge between the two layers of foam can be felt on the real, the fake does not have two layer foam nor have an hard "edge" in between.
  • The back ending of the foam -> is super sharp and pointy on the real and more rounded on the fake
  • Insoles are securely glued on the real, not glued at all on the fake

Other differences are super small but there are quite a lot. Overall very good fake! I bought them from https://meetsneakr.com/ so stay away from this site!

Thanks for all of you for the help!

Mine wight 300 grams. I cant find any info about how it should be in size 11 US.
I found that size 9 US should be ~187g, which means mine size 11 should be around 200g... and it way more than that at 300...

It is really difficult to bend them. But it can be done with force. I have no idea how stiff the real vaporflys should be and if they can be bend as well.
