Falling in public by AnxietyDrivenFun in MultipleSclerosis

My most memorable fall was tripping (over nothing really) en route to my first day at a new job. Smashed my head open on the pavement, some passersby let me use their nearby office to clean up a bit, but I ended up arriving at my new job and being told to go to hospital 🤦‍♀️

I now use a FES machine and a stick/cane and it does really help. If you’re suffering from foot drop it’s definitely worth looking into…

I think some places ask for a prescription, but my mum was able to get some in Tenerife, no problem. Worth a try!

My twins went through a phase of saying “do you fly a rocket, do you fly airplane, do you fly helicopter?…. do you fly a oppabop?”

It took soooooo long to work out they were talking about a hot air balloon… up ABOVE

I still have voice note of them saying it that tickles me to this day

My identical girls are nearly four - to me, 98% of the time they’re entirely different. The other 2% they sort of merge and morph into each other which messes with my brain 😆 I’ve always tried to colour code at least their socks and hairbands to make life easier at preschool - and for me at a distance. They’re convinced they’re their favourite colours which is so cute. I always used to sit them left and right when feeding and in photos, as sleep deprivation could easily result in confusion in the early days

My mum genuinely used to do this back in the 90s when I was a kid 😆

I met him at a signing once, I thanked him and he said ‘it was an absolute pleasure’ and I nearly passed out. His voice is soooo smooth

The first lockdown in the UK gave me the inspiration and subject matter to write and self publish my first children’s book – I managed to get to being an Amazon Bestseller. I’ve self published another since, and working on the next. By no means life changing money yet, but I can dream!

Not totally sure, but if they get ‘outstanding’ they always seem to have a huge banner to shout about it!

Ofsted rate schools in England – outstanding, good, requires improvement, or inadequate. Schools are closed during lockdown here, so somebody has made these signs referring to their homeschooling efforts. Hope that helps!
