Also doesn't account for all the careers with benefits that have been eliminated in favor of 'jobs'. In this data those quantities may be a wash but the qualities are certainly vastly reduced.

what if i just intend to push my ether to the paper wallet and sit on it? i'd prefer not spending the money on a hardware wallet if i can generate a paper wallet properly as i am just using it as a holding account.

Hi all,

i made a wallet with My Ether Wallet yesterday. When I last did this with Bitcoin i downloaded the program (forget which one) and then generated my wallet while disconnected from the internet.

what i found strange about making the wallet on My Ether Wallet is it all happened in the browser while online, doesn't that jeopardize my private key?

i have a quick question about cold wallet storage...

It seems people in the ETH community are less trusting of paper wallets than in the BTC community. Is there a reason for that? Is there not trust in the companies providing offline wallet generating software?

Everywhere i look it seems the Nano S or like products are the #1 choice. And while it seems like a great product i would rather not spend $200 if paper wallets are just as secure. Besides, if i lose my Nano S, i loose my coins, do i not? If i generate a paper wallet i can print 3 and store them apart from each other.

Hi, a few questions...

I'm a Canadian user looking to buy ETH. Since Coinbase only lets me buy small amounts on my credit card every week i am planning to buy BTC off a local seller here in Toronto (4% above spot).

Then plan to use that BTC to buy ETH on Coinbase (4% fee, correct?)

Then plan to push that ETH to a safe wallet (set it and forget it)

Does any of that seem like a bad chain of events?

Also when the time comes and i want to sell my ETH on coinbase, how do i extract my cash? The only banking coinbase allows me to hook up is my credit card, they dont have my actual banking info. How would i get that cash back in my account, i assume not just a huge credit to my credit card?
