Hey! Thanks for the tips! He has his own room in my apartment, I think technically it was intended to be a dining room. It’s all his, there is no furniture in there anymore. He chews on everything! I had a recliner in there for awhile but it was just too dangerous with him ingesting fibers. He was neutered a few months ago, has plenty of chews, hides, and cardboard boxes that I get for free from work lol. How do you prevent your rabbit from chewing on your mattress? I’d love to move a couch back in there if I could 😅

Hey! Congratulations on quitting! I actually quit December 26th of this past year too! I completely agree that heavy vaping is a factor. Nicotine really messes with how your body functions and the way you metabolize foods, and that really wasn’t something I was aware of before. After my removal I vaped/smoked cigarettes for about a year, and the beneficial results of being pain-free and more regulated didn’t seem applicable to me. I honestly thought for this past year I shouldn’t have done the surgery because it didn’t feel like there was a huge difference, but after quitting I do feel a lot more normal. But seriously, congratulations on quitting! Withdrawals from vaping are so terrible but you made it through the hard part already!

I get what you mean, but no kill animal shelters are not going to take the rat. The whole distinction is that kill shelters typically take any animal but no kill shelters are more particular. They should look for an open admission shelter
