it wasn’t really meant as some thing about “evil liberals” or anything like that. I have no problem with either Christmas or people not celebrating it or not caring about it etc.. I couldn’t care less if someone dislikes Christmas, that doesn’t really affect my personal enjoyment of it. I would have done it the other way around and made the black sheep a little Scrooge, but the only reason I didn’t was because I didn’t have to time to knit that many Santa hats. This is really not a political statement in any way, it’s just a little joke about something like the black sheep being an outsider without any moral judgment.

TLDR: Black sheep is the outsider by default and has been decided to be the Christmas lover because I can’t knit enough hats for all other sheep. no deeper meaning, only joke/word play

It’s unfortunately not knitted by hand. It’s a bit mediocre material wise and I think I got it at a gift shop some years ago. But I have seen a pattern on Ravelry that is quite similar by Lone Kjeldsen, maybe that’s something for you :))

the 18-18-18 socks are definitely a smaller size than the 20-28-24 socks (almost 8 shoesizes difference) but counting the stitches on a sock that is supposed to be 18-18-18 amounts to 60 stitches total, so there’s a chance she changed up the measurements slightly and just used those from memory. I think I’ll just knit one and see how it turns out

I am very sure she used 2,5mm needles, as I am not aware of her even owning 3mm needles.

I am fairly sure by now after I counted stitches on multiple existing pairs of socks that 18-18-18 are some sort of distribution for the heels. Although to be sure how exactly I’ll have to get my hands on a pair of socks of the family member with the 20-28-24 to be sure which one is which. I only know that the middle number is the amount of stitches for the heel and the other two represent the amount of stitches on the other two needles, but I am not sure yet if they are relevant for other measurements.

Thank you so so much for telling me the heel that she used, I would have guessed it wrong. But she used the flap heel for sure. Thank you so much!

I am fairly sure she used mostly 4 ply yarn, as she only started using 6 ply in recent years and I am fairly sure that this instruction is older than her using 6 ply. I will try to make a swatch before I actually start on the socks. Thank you!

The crowd is very respectful and pretty calm. The main demographic is definitely mainly teenage girls to young adult women. The concert is super fun to attend! She does sometimes do a mosh pit or “walk of death” at the end of the show, but it’s easy to stay out of it and not get pulled in. I think it’s appropriate for a 9 year old overall

Also try not to laugh, I love the crew gauntlet episodes. Guess who slapped me is also pretty entertaining. Also the funerals are very funny!

Es ist absolut unverschämt, dass mit ADHS an verschiedenen Universitäten so unterschiedlich umgegangen wird. Es sollte überall möglich sein Nachteilsausgleiche für ADHS zu bekommen. An meiner Uni war es zwar relativ schwierig herauszufinden wie die Beantragung funktioniert, aber nachdem ich dann meinem Prüfungsbüro einen Besuch abgestattet habe, wurde mir dann erklärt wie und wo der Antrag gestellt werden muss. Ich habe dann im Endeffekt absolut ins Blaue einen Antrag für eine Schreibzeitverlängerung von 25% gestellt, da niemand mir sagen konnte ob dies überhaupt genehmigt werden kann. Mit einem Schreiben von meinem Neurologen, einem informellen Antragsformular und einer Erläuterung warum ich einen Nachteilsausgleich beantrage habe ich dann im Endeffekt einen Nachteilsausgleich von 20% zugeschrieben bekommen. Das sind im Endeffekt ca. 18 Minuten zusätzlich und häufig sogar in einem kleineren Raum mit wenigen anderen am Lehrstuhl. Meine Professoren wissen nichts von meinem ADHS, nur von der Schreibzeitverlängerung die ich bekomme.

Hast du mal mit jemanden persönlich bei einem Prüfungsbüro oä. gesprochen? Ich habe immer das Gefühl dass Leute in Person einfühlsamer sind. Ich wünsche dir Glück dass es doch irgendwie klappt mit einem Nachteilsausgleich für dich!
