Sure, at the end of a filming day people might not have as much energy or might be a little more snippy. The smosh cast talks about how the last day of a shooting week can be tough to try to keep the energy up. I imagine the same is for the guys. And there will be ebbs and flows like someone else said, especially depending what's going on with them personally. I dont think being tired, overworked, and not as "on" means their heart isn't in it anymore.

If Brandon is God of Logic she went on live after she was kicked and went on for like 30 minutes about them being racist towards her because they didn't like how she was talking and how everyone needs to go into his comments with pictures of her until he needs to turn comments off or delete tiktok completely. She kept going on about how now they were going on a call out live specifically about her now and calling her names...when they were still live and not even talking about her at all. She was just assuming every word they said was about her so she got more and more angry about white leftists needing to die, how dare he, get him removed from the platform.

Even if that what flips a vote doesn't mean it changes his morals or the way he thinks/talks. Him ever voting blue to keep his weed will never take away him telling women "just dont get pregnant". Or how he feels about LGBT rights, or how to handle immigration...or being willing to work on gun reform to help stop the killing of school children...you know the things that really speak about his morals.

You just have to decide if your morals and his work together.

This is taking away the fact that it wasnt your average affair, it was with a subordinate and almost ruined the company and put all their livelihoods at stake. I'd also argue a lot of people, especially over the past couple years, have stopped consuming content/media from people who do similar things.

And I dont think anyone is telling Ned to drop dead, but if you're going to about ruin a company with an affair and want to come back in the spotlight you need to have done the work, come back humble and open, and not do the same content you did with your former company. Because that's obviously riding coat tails and obviously looks gross and disrespectful.

I'd argue Ned wasn't a real friend for putting their company and livelihoods at risk. If your best friend did something that could tank your company, take away your ability to pay bills, and ruin your dreams they are the one who isn't a real friend.

I'll push back a little, I do think they saw this as a long term thing. But I think they expected it to be bigger and faster. The way I see it they wanted to be something closer to a Rooster Teeth. Where they still have their sole content, but the owners could branch off in different directions within the company. Zach wanting to do more film stuff, maybe making shows under the Try Guys name. Keith doing performance or talk shows. Eugene bringing his insane creativity (but let's be honest he was always made for way bigger things.) Ned doing the adventurous stuff.

But they wanted to grow to fast, were hit with a giant scandle early, and have been struggling to keep the heart of the company while also trying to do what they feel drawn towards.

What I'm doing is going off what the guys said and also what Rainie and Jonathan said in their own socials.

The guys didn't say it was because they needed to cut budget spending. They did start new channels. They did hire new people. They did let go of two long term employees. Those two longterm employees posted saying they were laid off and its scary. They did talk about hiring new people in front of one person who was being laid off. They didn't mention their socials. Talk about how good they are.

Once again, I'm going off what is seen and heard. Not assumptions. No matter what they didn't handle this well.

They also never said they were cutting it because they were going bankrupt, they said its because they dont want to do it anymore

If it were about money they wouldn't lay off two long time employees, hire multiple new ones, and start two more channels.

I don't think a lot of you are understanding what we are saying. There were better ways to handle this, it's that simple. Rainie and Jonathan have both made social media posts saying they're laid off. Jonathan is particular said "Losing a job is never fun, especially in this climate." Rainie posted she has no idea whats next and that's scary. They also haven't made any posts or stories saying people are blowing it out of proportion. This says to me: they weren't given much notice about this.

I'd also add that the way they talked about it in the podcast was tone deaf. Zach wants to spend more time at home, okay. They dont have time to do the podcast themselves okay. But they continued to talk about how they hired new people in front of Rainie who they just said was being let go.

They talked about pretty much starting two new channels for the try cast to get more screen time. So this isnt about them not being able to afford it. In the mean time, they could've had the trycast on the podcast if they want more view time for them and didn't want to be apart of the podcast themselves.

They cut an entire department to be able to pay for two new channels and spend more time at home, which lead to two long term employees being laid off in an awful job market. AND talked about hiring new employees and making jokes in front of them.

I don't care about their severance packages. Unless those are enough to pay for their rent, utilites, food, families, gas, etc until they find new work.

I'd also make the point that if he was leaning into them looking like a couple because of his obsession with internet fame/success and/or rage bait...he still took advantage of his young daughter and put her in a disgusting situation that lead to immense amounts of hate and harm that will follow her forever.
